I had three children in this facility for the past 4 years and prior to an incident was very pleased. They was an incident in the afterschool program where a parent threatened my 8 year old child with bodily harm based on something told to him by his child. After speaking with Mrs. Jerome she apologized for the incident and completely dismissed ANY additional concerns I had for my childs safety or the safety of any other children in the facility. No other parents were notified that this parent threatened my son nor was the church Pastor or Board of Directors until I continue to push for some kind of consequence for his actions. I was denied an incident report by her and told to have the police contact her as they only provided injury reports. After speaking with pastor Tim because I contacted him directly I was told something would be done to this parent who told my son he would SHOOT him yet nothing was done. She did at the direction of Pastor Tim finally give me an incident report, however the entire event was dismissed and this parent still was allowed to pick his child up with access to my son who was distraught and STILL is. I would caution parents against this center until Mrs. Jerome takes parents concerns more seriously and addresses these types of issues with the level of concern that ALL threats should be addressed with. I have since removed ALL 3 of my children and was told she was sorry things turned out that way without offering me any action to ensure my son felt safe at her facility. I suggested having this parent pick his child up at the front desk where my son would not have to physical see him and was told that was NOT an option. I was offered no options to make me and my family feel that my children were safe and secure at this facility.
