Description: Gibbstown School Age Child Care was established in 1985 to meet the needs of children in Gibbstown and surrounding communities, before and after school, during most school holidays, and during the summer. We understand that the economic conditions in our area require a large percentage of parents, both single-parents and two parent families, to work outside the home. As a non-profit organization, we strive to provide quality care at the most affordable price for the children of those families. Our current hours are 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. We provide structured activities as well as time for free play during our summer programs, realizing that this time should feel like a vacation from the rigors of the school year for the children in our center. We have enrolled children from special education programs, as well as main streamed students. Our center in handicapped accessible on the first floor, which is the area where the school age program takes place.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
