| Initial Comments: The following deficiencies were observed at the time of the Compliance Inspection conducted on 7/30/20245 and are subject to changes pending programmatic review. A paper copy of the Notice of Inspection Rights was given to the Director at the time of the inspection. Please submit the Plan of Corrections via the LMS portal within 10 days of receipt of the Statement of Deficiencies. The Empower Self-Evaluation invitation was emailed to the facility. The Emergency Disaster Contact Form was completed at the time of the inspection. The DES Group Size was observed in compliance at the time of the inspection. The fingerprint clearance cards for 4 of 4 staff members were verified to be valid through the DPS website at the time of the inspection. During the exit interview, the following items were discussed, but are not limited to: *A new Criminal History Affidavit will be completed each time the fingerprint clearance card is renewed *Continue to monitor the following outdoor areas to ensure they are maintained free from hazards: paint on the concrete block wall fence and shade posts, the sandbags, and the raised garden beds *There will be sufficient light to observe children's faces during naptime *Diaper steps will be posted in the diaper changing area | |||

The morning staff at the preschool is pretty good just don’t have your child stay for “aftercare” they hire young inexperienced kids. Multiple times when picking up four aftercare staff will be standing in the doorways of classrooms talking to each other while the kids inside are doing whatever they want! Administration is oblivious to this…Summer camp for elementary kids is a joke because it is run by the same young kids who do nothing with the kids but cram them all in one small room and talk to each other. You are overpaying for a glorified daycare with a warm body.
