Creative Playcare is a home-daycare using the Child Centered learning approach. Set on 3 ares of land with a 1 acre fenced play area, screened in activity porch, large playing and learning areas, Creative Playcare is the perfect place for your child to grow, create, learn, make friends and just plain have fun.
The program is run by Ms. Amy who uses her extensive experience with children as well as her schooling, including an MFA, to craft a day full of imagination, learning, and fun through structured and unstructured play (with some hugs thrown in there too).
From fine art, to theater, to music, to cooking, to gardening we teach everything from the ABCs and 123s to manners and self-respect. The program is Child Centered (also called play-based). Studies have shown that learning through play promotes faster comprehension and better retention. It also is the best way for children to “learn how to learn”, a skill that they will use for a lifetime.

From fine art, to theater, to music to cooking to gardening we teach everything from the ABCs and 123s to manners and self-respect. Studies have shown that learning through play promotes faster comprehension and better retention and adding in the arts is the icing on the cake. Engaging both sides of the brain prepares children for all types of learning environments and social situations.
