| Findings: Provider did not notify the Office of Child Care (OCC) immediately of a situation that could have presented a risk to the safety and welfare of children in care. Lic. Spec. was briefly made aware while on site today, of a situation, that occurred months ago. The provider states that she believed another agency would have notified the OCC. While it is true that the other agency should have reported the situation to the OCC, the provider is also obligated to notify the OCC. It seems that the situation has now been resolved, but the OCC still needs to evaluate the information. In the future please be sure that you notify the OCC of any situation that may present a risk to the health, safety and welfare of children in care. | |||
