Terrible "gate keeper" in the form of admin assistant Sarah Schnell. This individual holds the keys to getting your child in the facility, and that is so sad. She sometimes will answer a call, but most certainly will not return a call. The "I will check and call you backs" are comical at this point. The facility is great the practices and learning they say they teach are great concepts as well. The only unfortunate thing is we are on a waiting list to get in and are subjected to the incompetence of the admin assistant, Sarah. Makes you wonder about the staff as a whole and fortunately we did not make the cut. What if something happened to the child and you relied on Sarah to call you to discuss something had happened. Would Sarah call you to discuss this, I sincerely doubt it. It takes 3 days for an admin assistant to catch up from a 3 day weekend? At a child care facility? Complicated work that is to review the forms and check quantity of numbers in rooms to see if space is available and let those who are waiting for a slot to become available if they are indeed "in" or "out". As someone who has worked in customer service, I have always been pleasant and given her every chance to be the best admin assistant she can be, but she is just plain terrible. We will not be pursuing a spot in the ECC program.
