Where do I begin, when I started back to work my NEWBORN baby daughter was only 7 weeks and is breastfed. They allowed her to go five hours without any milk. When I addressed my concern, there employee argued with me. When I brought her home, she had diaper rashes and when you check the sheet supposedly only twice she have wet diapers and only check her every two hours. A newborn should have more than two wet diapers in an 8 hour span. I noticed her lips where chapped from malnourishment and her soft spot was caving in. I have witnessed the daughter drop pacifiers and place them back in the child’s mouth. My daughter had shots and when I brought her there. I explained that to them and to please check on her temp and call me right away. When I got there she was crying in a swing and with a blanket on her. I took her out and could feel the heat off her body. My daughter had a high temp and could have had one all day. Again with my concern I had an employee argue with me. I have witnessed employees with long finger nails which is a hygienic concern. They kept there lunch in there tiny refrigerator with barley any room to keep my bottles in. Now for the last one, when covid took place towards end of March, dhs guidelines didn’t start til that weekend. It was a Friday and the daughter told me I couldn’t touch, take her out or even kiss her. I said no. The daughter called her mom over and wow. The owner took her fist and hit her other hand and said what’s up. Another employee came over too and cornered me my baby and my 7 year old into a corner. Argued with me, I have severe ptsd and my anxiety was high. INSTEAD of diffusing the situation and tried to calmly ask me to come talk in the office. They ignited it and they all jumped down my throat in front of my children. They have been reported to dhs. They are in a much better place and my family has another support system now. Which is what a daycare is suppose to be also.
My son went here from when he was 7 months old until he was about one and we had nothing but issues. There are a bunch of really young people watching the kids who have no experience. The owners 12 year old daughter is always there watching kids. I came to get my son one day and he was crying so hard he was hot and red and all the girl did was say “oh thank god his mom is here” to another girl and handed him to me without saying a word to me. I got home and he was starved and thirsty which is unacceptable. He would always come home in different clothes and they didn’t know where the clothes he came in were. I always sent him with diapers and he always came back in different diapers that weren’t even his size. One day I was very sick with flu like symptoms and I still took him to daycare so I could rest up to feel better and hopefully not give it to him and I got a call after a couple hours saying his lip was dry and split open and got blood on his blanky he chews on due to teething and he needed to be picked up when they knew I was trying to rest and sick. I went to pick him up and it was just a pin dot of blood and his lip was just fine. They find any reason to send your kid home even when there is nothing wrong with them. They also close with only a moments notice leaving you to scramble to find someone to watch your child so you don’t miss work. The last day he was there I got called on my cell phone 3 times when they know I can’t have it on me at work and it was the owners 12 year old daughter telling me I have a half an hour to get him because he has a high fever and is coughing really bad. I picked him up and he was just fine. I even took him to the doctor and he got a clean bill of health. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD TO A MOTHERS LOVE. If you are looking for a good daycare who even accepts block grant check out MOTHER GOOSE on the NW side of town. They are awesome with the kids and are very reliable and care about you and your kids. I tried to leave this review on their Facebook site and she is deleting all negative feedback about her business and there is more than just me. Elise (the owner) is so shady!
