About the Provider

Description: Capital KIDS Daycare & Pre-School is committed to enhancing the self-esteem of each child and is concerned about the individual child's growth in the areas of physical, creative, emotional, social, intellectual and faith development. The Preschool seeks to provide a nurturing environment, which supports parental involvement and enhances the value of each child's family experience.

The program progresses from the informal structure necessary for the very young child toward increasingly verbally directed experiences, alternating with periods of creative freedom as the child grows older and the attention span lengthens. All children will participate in a variety of developmentally appropriate activities planned by the teachers to reflect the school's philosophy.

Teachers work with the director handle discipline in a positive and preventative manner. At the heart of our approach is a belief in the child's self-worth. We support positive reinforcement, active listening, parent involvement and redirection of inappropriate behavior that might prove harmful to the child or to his peers.

So blessed to have found such a nice facility. I have two children who I have been sending to this daycare. My son (4) looks forward to going to school and My daughter who is now 7 looked forward to attending school when she was younger, she now looks forward to returning to the summer camp program with her brother. The staff there is wonderful, I love that they take the time to know the child and help them. They express love and concern for them making them feel great and making me feel excited my kids love going there.

Best Preschool & Summer Camp Ever!
My son was able to attend the preschool from 2 1/2 yrs. old through Kindergarten. He was well prepared to attend public school and continues to attend their yearly summer camp. I felt like all the teachers loved and cared for him like he was their own. I never had to worry about him and knew the teachers were keeping me informed of his activities, behavior, and progress. He is 9 yrs. old now and already looking forward to summer camp. Great job Capital KIDS!
