Broad Creek child Development Program (BCCDP) is a traditional half-day preschool program established in 1970 to meet the needs of families within the community. It is a non-profit and a non-sectarian program. The curriculum is designed to fulfill the developmental requirements of the individual child, while also encouraging a sense of community and a spirit of cooperation. BCCDP is licensed by the Maryland Department of Human Resources. In addition, the four-year-old program at BCCDP is accredited by the Maryland State Board of Education.
