2021-07-07 Full 13A.15.05.05A Corrected
Findings: Located in the fenced back yard are some hazards. There is a burning barrel that sits on cinder blocks. This barrel could potentially topple over on a child if a child attempted to pull on the barrel and it has rusting fragments around the bottom of the barrel. The provider indicated that she will either move the barrel to a spot in the yard that is inaccessible to the children or she will place a barrier around the barrel. The barrel is not to be used for burning purposes during child care hours. There is a shed located in the backyard that sits on cinder blocks. Since this shed sits on blocks, the entire base is open to where a child could climb under the shed and there is concern this could be an entrapment area. The provider will attach a barrier around the entire perimeter of the shed to block the open space. There is a portion of the fence that needs to be repaired near the gate. There are vines in the left corner of the fence that need to be removed. The provider will submit photographs of these corrected areas. Also the Licensing Specialist will make another visit prior to the provider opening to ensure these areas are safe.

2019-06-18 Full 13A.15.09.01B(3) Corrected
Findings: Provider does not have a screen time policy. This was addressed in the 2017 inspection also and was reported as corrected. New contract does not have the screen time policy included. Provider to add an addendum to contract and send a copy to Licensing Specialist.
2019-06-18 Full 13A.15.03.04A(3) Corrected
