About the Provider
Bais Rivkah's Day Camp has provided thousands of girls over the years with an exciting, rejuvenating, and educational summer program in a warm, safe environment. The added convenience of holding a Day Camp at our Crown Heights campus ensures that students enjoy the best of both worlds- the advantages of a structured and productive summer vacation as well as the opportunity to stay with their family and within the dynamic Crown Heights community.
For seven weeks each summer, girls in grades pre- 1A through 7th grade enjoy a wide variety of activities, trips, performances, and sports as well as daily learning.
Achieving the right balance between serious learning, and allowing students time to relax and experience a vacation from school, is not easy but our staff always manages to put together a schedule that does exactly that.
Camp is divided into three divisions: Kiddy Camp (Pre-1A), Junior (Grades 1-5), and Pioneer (Grades 6-8th). Within Junior Day Camp, YOUNGER DIVISION refers to campers who have completed 1st or 2nd grade (for Summer 5775 this is bunks Alef through Ches) and OLDER DIVISION refers to campers who have completed 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade (for Summer 5775 this is bunks Chof Alef through Chof Ches).
Students in each division will have a daily schedule that includes davening, a shiur, breakfast and a hot lunch, and organized activities. Under the guidance of professional staff and devoted counselors, girls enjoy baking, arts and crafts, scrap book making, drama workshops, and gymnastics. There will be weekly outings as well as two major trips: to an all-girls water park and to an amusement park. Pioneer students will also enjoy overnight trips as well as late-night activities and additional arts and crafts projects under the instruction of professional craftswomen.
There will also be special performances from professional entertainers throughout the summer.
