I have had my child come home multiple times with bite marks - no incident report. I’ve had another child come home with a bandaid to go on the chin with a chunk of skin missing - no incident report, no explanation, we asked a teacher - they had no idea. Clearly they don’t watch the children and do not communicate or comply with their own standards.
I have know the directors and staff of Aley for many years, but have only had a child in the center for about 5 months. So far, I am very happy with the care my toddler son has received. The teachers are friendly and well trained. The directors plan lots of fun things as special events and the center is always clean. My only complaint would be with the catered food and provided snacks which I think could include some healthier choices. On the plus side though, they allow part time for toddlers which is hard to find and they are very flexible with your scheduling needs.
