Description: The YMCA of Arlington mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. We focus on five character values in everything we do: caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and faith. The first YMCA of Arlington officially opened its doors in temporary offices on October 1, 1958 after a $400,000 fundraising campaign led by then-Mayor Tom Vandergriff. During its 52 years, we have grown to three branches and is the city's largest provider of child care for school-age children.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
