About the Provider

Description: Bright Beginnings Preschool and Daycare Center LLC was established in December 2008. We started as an answer to parent's dilemma in finding quality and affordable preschool and daycare for their children. As a result, Bright Beginnings (BB) offers a nurturing environment that promotes developmentally appropriate practices for our students. In addition, we wanted to ensure our parents that quality early learning can be affordable. The staffs at BB are loving, caring, nurturing staffs that enjoy what they do and as well as the children that are in their care. They are continually taking classes to keep up with the new, ever changing practices in early education. The staff at Bright Beginnings takes pride in the important role they play in your child's life and are more than happy to work individually with you in providing the best possible education and care for your child.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

After reading of the other comments, I felt as though I needed to state my point of view for parents that are now researching days cares. Many of the negative comments are based on the experiences of the prior director. The current director is very nice and appears to care greatly for the children. The day care is small but the children always appear to be happy and active when I pick up my child.
The most recent comment made my a prior employee holds absolutely no bearing on my views of the day care as I know first hand that this individual did not care about the children and would sit on her phone ALL the time.
New Parents, If you are looking for a reasonably price daycare that will help teach your children and provide them with lots of opportunity for socialization, then Bright Beginnings is a good choice. IT is not perfect! it is small and you have to stay on top of everything and everyone, but i believe that is what a parent should be doing anyways.

My child is always happy when i get there to pick him up and except for a few mornings of not wanting to leave mommy, appears very happy to see everyone.
Please do not base your view on Bright Beginning on the comments of disgruntled past employees and experiences with a past director.

I was an employee at Bright Beginnings it was the worst mistake of my life. I hated going to work everyday! The staff is all about drama & gossip, they do not care for the children at all. They watch movies at least once a week so they don't need to deal with the kids. The staff is always on there phones & the director allows the staff to walk around barefoot. The one director Rebecca is very mean to the children. I witnessed with my own eyes her hitting a child just for not listening. I wouldn't recommend anybody to send there child here! It is very unprofessional & all the staff are like 20 years old or younger! If you love your child you will not send yours to this dump.

DO you love your children? do you want whats best for them? do you want them to come home clean? then do not send them here!! obviously if you look on their site they will only leave the good reviews up and not the HONEST ones!!!  They will force your child to sleep with loud music(how oxy) the center itself is probably the size of my basement. no windows! no room to move around!. Everyone goes there because its cheap but the price is not worth it. the owner is so unprofessional that she was willing to start my child without providing his shot records not to mention she always looks drained and tired. understandable, but i went to other daycares where everyone energy is very high. the staff is ok however, they are teenagers that are in for the money and not for the children because before i can talk to the caregiver shes running out the door. very bad daycare

Bright Beginnings is a great preschool to send my son. He comes home and tell me all about his day and what he learned. He tells me how much fun he had playing with all of friends. The staff seems to really love and care about the children in their care, which as a mom is very important. I feel that my son is in a safe, loving, caring environment. THANK YOU Bright Beginnings for giving this mom piece of mind Donna Beaumont Preschool 4 Parent

Our son started going to Bright Beginnings when he was just 11 weeks old. As all new parents know, it's very difficult to return to work and trust other people to care for your baby. In our situation, it wasn't financially possible for one of us to be a stay-at-home parent but we quickly realized that some daycares are so expensive that returning to work , just to be able to afford daycare, was not an acceptable plan either. When we found Bright Beginnings, we knew instantly that it was going to be the best place for our son in terms of care and price. Working parents shouldn't have to sacrifice the quality of care due to financial limitations and the owner fully understands this concept. My son is ten-months old now and I love bringing him to Bright Beginnings every morning to see the big smile on his face when he sees his teachers and classmates! The new Director and all of the other wonderful staff members are kind, caring and dedicated to the work that they do everyday and as parents, we are grateful. The Demassey Family

former_employee 2013-09-13 01:18:48

I worked here for almost a year and it was one of the worst decisions I could have ever made. I now work at another daycare and realize that Bright Beginnings was A LOT worse than I thought it was while working there. I never felt a connection with any of the parents because we had to be very careful of what we said, otherwise the former owner would get pissed. I found mold in a child's cup and asked her how I should tell the parent and she laughed in my face and told me I could not tell her. She was only worried about herself and never kept the children in mind. Just about every class was out of ratio, which was noone but her fault considering she'd lie to the employees about the ratio of their classroom. It may be an 'affordable daycare, but I'd care more about the care for my child rather than it being affordable. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE.

If minus 10 was a rating this center would certainly get it!  The conditions in which the children are in is very subpar.  The child to teacher ratio is ignored and the revolving door of 17 year old "teachers" is shocking.  I tried to report this center to the state which did not matter because the director's husband is a state worker and tips her off to the inspection time and date.  There are a handful of great teachers who I believe only remain to protect the children whose parents cannot otherwise afford a better place to put their kids.  SHAME ON YOU STATE OF NJ for not shutting this center down!  DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!

We chose Bright Beginnings to provide our children with a well-structured environment to channel their energy in ways that are safe, worthwhile, and fun. Other local daycares that we visited seemed more chaotic, with frustrated and harried teachers trying to keep bustling preschoolers safe and positively engaged. In contrast, the atmosphere at Bright Beginnings is usually much calmer, and the teachers have been doing an excellent job of keeping our children engaged in creative activities that are safe and educational for everyone. One of our preschoolers will be in kindergarten this fall, and we feel that our child is more than adequately prepared, both socially and intellectually. Our children really enjoy learning, and Bright Beginnings has done a great job of cultivating their interests. We really appreciate how the Bright Beginnings staff have cheerfully adapted to our last-minute schedule changes. We have also been happy with the parent/teacher communication level.

Very good workers, very mean, selfish, mean spirited owner! The ladies that work there make up for her insufficiencies, thats the only reason why I kept my kids there that long. She doesn't invest into the daycare and haven't seen one new toy. Books are old with tears in them. Don't send your kids here!
