Thank God this place has been permanently closed. I am all for black owned businesses but this one here was not a wise decision on my part. The staff was fine but the owner was different and very much so unprofessional. In my personal opinion she showed favoritism to certain families and certain employees. I consider myself to be a person of second chances but with this place as well the owner a second chance could very well be detrimental to ones mental health, growth and development. The owner, Ms. Michelle is what I would consider a schoolhouse bully. She talks very nasty to the staff and I have even witness her talking rough to some of the children. My youngest would cry every morning during morning drop-off. My school age children would complain how nasty her place was and the evidence would be all over my youngest socks and even her bare feet. There has been too many time where I went to pick my daughter up and she would have on different clothes but never could they find the clothes that she was originally dropped off in. This place is considered a family owned business and it was made very clear who family was. Her granddaughter was treated as royalty while other kids did whatever to make it through the day there. I eventually removed my children from this center because there was nothing nurturing about this place. If you are looking for gossip and drama then this will be the perfect place for you. However, if you are looking for the real nurturing of excellence than stay the hell away from this place.
