Southern Preschool & Childcare

This daycare does not lock it's doors, staff is poorly kept, children drink from bottles lying on the floor, I hope it was at least their bottle. I have seen the staffs personal children in the rooms with parents who are supposed to be watching other children, babies just sitting in thier diapers toddler standing on countertops. My child's teacher did not follow their bottle routine and she ran out of bottles, didn't feed her baby food as directed. I would strongly discourage anyone from sending thier child here.

As far as a daycare goes this is a pretty decent place to send your children. I have two kids here currently and have not had any problems with them besides not being as clean as I had hoped and my oldest outside without a coat on one occasion. As far as a place to work that's a whole different ballpark. There is a lot of gossip and not very good to their employees. I had a incident where I was unable to work for a week due to a sever wreck and upon trying to return to work was told I was replaced. Due to to many days out. In the long run its a great place for your kids but look elsewhere for employment

The care at Southern Preschool is okay. There doesn't seem to be enough staff to go around. On many occasions I have walked into rooms full of children with NO adult supervision. They also don't keep the children as clean as I think they should. Diapers are changed by the clock and not as needed. Faces are always covered in snot. Some of the staff are very sweet and loving. Most of them genuinely care about children, which is why I've kept my child there this long.
