I have used this provider for more than 6 months

My son attended this daycare in the past and we had a great experience, although Amy closed for holidays and 4 weeks during the year. Now, a few years later and post Covid we had a different experience. Amy would closed frequently or require pick up for not napping. This went on without a full week for over 5 months. While I was away on a trip that she knew about, she broke the news to my husband that she found another child she preferred to care for as our son is nonverbal and can be loud. He is almost 2. I would not recommended this daycare as Amy is the most unreliable caregiver these days. I get the feeling that she is stuck in this career, but no longer enjoys it. Amy is not a bad person and I do not dislike her on a personal level, but my experience over the past 5 years with her has been declining. Amy requires full payment whether she closes or not, vacations or not. Each year the vacation list grows and June is the only month in 2023 where she is not taking additional time off. Very hard for the average working person. I’d say to only choose this daycare if your sole purpose is to see socialization and you are otherwise not employed or attending school, as using this caregiver makes both nearly impossible.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

This provider does well with 1-2 yo , takes more than the average paid time off and let my child go because he had a hard time settling for nap. She stated they could no longer meet his needs which seemed to be more unwilling to meet his needs. A frustrating experience.
