Sweet angels daycare and preschool

Sad to have to do this bc most of the teachers there are amazing and have loved both of my children as their own. My issue is with the management and how things are run and operated in the center. They constantly break ocfs guidelines the biggest and scariest one is they combine infants with other age groups, again want to specify this is not the teachers fault at all it is the directors bc I’m assuming she is the one who makes the schedule and does the staffing. The infant teachers do not arrive until 7:30-7:45am, my children would get there as early as 6:45am. So from that time period they have all of the children in one classroom in the back. Mind you they also do before school care so their are children up to the age of 12 in with my infant but it’s not even the older kids I think did something to my infant, there are multiple toddlers at times I’ve seen be in that room as well. The issue is it is the director Katie and some other lady that are there in the room with the kids the other lady leaves the room the get the older school aged children on the bus. I dropped my infant off around the usual time along with my preschool and I get a call 7 hours later saying my son was being transported to the hospital with SEVERE BRUISING to both sides of his abdomen, his leg, and his inner ear, mine you the director and me have had our previous issues, in fact I had gotten into it with her because I had just been informed by my DSS worker they had been illegally charging me late fees, so I was in the process of filing a grievance with my DSS worker on the daycare when this happened to my infant. So anyways I drop my infant off at usual time and 7 hours later get the call, funny thing is they tried to say my infant came in with the bruising but that was proven to be false, I’ve already reported them to all of the proper agencies and they are currently investigating but what I’m assuming happened, well actually what my preschooler told me (not a reliable witness I know but still he has stuck to the same story a couple times now) was that my child was in something and fell of/out onto the ground or some sort but then he also mentioned another preschool friends name pushing him so again like I said not 100% reliable, but what also concerns me is I asked where the teacher was when this happened and he said miss kaity was asleep, now idk if she was just tired, it’s morning time had her head down on the table or something not asleep but not fully paying attention either, but this is the one part of the story he constantly sticks to is that she was “asleep”. My infant is fine no internal damage or anything and is back to being as happy as ever.

I bring my 4 month old daughter to Sweet Angels. I was beyond upset having to put her into daycare but after 1 week, I felt more than comfortable. The infant room girls (Jessica and Kalisha) are exceptional. they are everything that a mother would want in someone to watch your child while at work. I feel they love her as their own, as how should any daycare. I am beyond sad to be leaving but we are moving and this will no longer be convenient for us. I highly recommend this daycare for infants. You will know for sure that your baby is loved and fully taken care of.
