Bright Minds Afterschool Program, LLC Childcare and Learning Academy

I wouldn't recommend this daycare to anyone! First and foremost they take 30 minutes+ everyday to bring you your child/ Come get your child because it's a two story behind and your not allowed downstairs where the infants and toddlers class is . I only allowed my infant daughter who is only 2 months to attend for only 2 weeks, And there where so many problems In just that sort time they brought my daughter up with a full poopy diaper, with just her onesie on with no sock(which she didn't arrive in) when I asked where was her clothes are they stated they just change her and she poop on the way upstairs ( even know I packed multiple clothes and socks) the administrator ( Shalantrice Hamblin) had the nerves to get mad that I was stating my concerns in a respectful manner and told me she was withdrawing her, I told her don't worry about it CAPS will deal with it she told me she never had to deal with CAPS with her child with her legs crossed and eyes rolled so she knows nothing about CAPS even know she works at a daycare, we end up discussing it and I brought her back for two days in those two days they mark in the app that they feed my baby peaches when I asked her about it she stated that was meant to be listed for another infant child, the second day my infant daughter was pick up and her diaper put on backwards, that was the last straw for me I contact the owner ( Aljami Durham) and scheduled a meeting which the administrator also attended when I told him my concerns for the second time he kept saying he would talk to the teacher and told me it's not cold in the daycare so they didn't think they had to need to put clothes on my baby, they have minor staff in the facility through the whole conversation the owner ( a men ) was rasing his voice and undermined all my concerns I left with no reinsurance I told him I was withdrawing then he started getting on the walky telling his staff to hurry up and bring my daughter stuff, I wouldn't bring your child to this daycare!

Parents do not enroll your child at Bright Mind's Learning Center. My six year old alerted me on 12/10/20 that a daycare employee named Felicia said that she would slap her. This daycare is hiring people from off the streets who are not certified to work with children. Not only that, the center is located directly across the street from a half way house of drug users. The Director Ms. Sharon Carmichael is very much aware of the negativity that is going on. The Owner sucks.

A building full of clowns. This is not the place you want for your child or children this is not the place to protect or nurture your child. I literally go out my way to leave reviews and get this building shut down. My child was called retarded by the director Miss Carmichael. Just waiting to catch her on the street to deal with her but other than that do not send your child here won't learn anything . Not sanitized just nasty

Hi! My little cousin Adonis Edmond goes to your daycare and I just wanna thank you for all the great work your doing with him. Being that my cousin is a first time mom and was soo nervous about him going to a daycare you guys really have made it easier for her we appreciate all of you help with baby Adonis keep up the great work!

This daycare is a godsend. The staff is very family oriented and they truly do love every child in the school. The curriculum works my children (I have 5 that attend) all are progressing nicely. The owner Mrs. Carmicheal (Director)really works with you as a parent to help in anyway needed. Great program and i will recommend to any family

They with the children age 8months to 2yts old and cover it up with diaper rash cream.they also allow the children to abuse one another mentally and physically.while the teachers them self add insult to injury.
