I have used this provider for less than 6 months

I wish they got rid of their "non-refundable" registration fee. They aren't flexible in considering some peoples' situation. Disappointing from a church. Especially in times like these.....

About the Provider

School for Little People, which began in 1965, is an exceptional place for children, ages 2-4, to be loved and nurtured as they grow and develop. It is our purpose to aid children’s self discovery by allowing and encouraging them to explore, experience and absorb their environment.

At SLP, our director and staff are qualified, well-trained, and inventive persons dedicated to early childhood professionalism and are committed to excellence in all areas of our school. Our teachers are convinced that the children we work with each day are not just “our class” or their parent’s “kids”. They are gifts from God, each unique, each gifted in their own special way, and each able to teach us as much as we teach them. They are worthy of our respect, which is expressed in our staff’s words and interactions with the children. We are their guides and facilitators as they discover and explore the world around them.

It is our desire to aid children in the knowledge that they are unique and important persons; that all life is a gift from God; that they are loved as persons and are able to love in return; that they can care for themselves and their environment; that through discovering a good self image they will be better able to know God as the creator of all life. We look for spiritual growth with bi-weekly chapel services and daily classroom emphasis on love and friendship.

Each child has only this moment developmentally, physically, socially and intellectually. Then the child moves on, and the chance to pass on what one needs is gone. It is, therefore, our responsibility as parents, teachers, and caregivers to make every day, in every way count for each child.
