Herdman, Peggy

Peggy is a very sweet person. She seems to love children. When my husband and I tried to get together with her before starting care so that our children could meet her, she always ignored our calls. On their first day, she had me call her so that she could meet me outside during drop off. I was never invited in to see where or how they would be cared for. And now I know why. When I got to her house to pick up my children, I noticed mold on the door. When she opened the door, the smell of mold hit me like a ton of bricks. Her house was a mess (you could tell it was not from children). She quickly got my children outside to discuss their day. She mentioned that they ate really good at lunch and even had second helpings. But all she fed them was goldfish and mini muffins. Where is the balanced meal? After picking my children up I immediately called my husband. We agreed that our children would not return as Peggy does not provide a safe and healthy environment and does not provide adequate nourishment. Her cheap costs are not worth our children's health and safety.
