Big Blue Marble Academy

My twins have been there for almost a week and they have enjoyed it. I was little nervous about the reviews I seen prior but all of the staff and the teachers have been loving to my boys and welcoming so far!

If I could give a negative star rating, I would. I implore any parent who loves their child, DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE! There are 4 workers who I honestly believe care for my kid and his wellbeing, however Roberta, the director likes to play grandma more than she likes to take responsibility for the horrid things that happen there. I've caught one employee neglecting kids in the infant room, lying on papers sent home, leaving kids in dirty diapers, leaving them in their spit up, etc.

My kid has (as of today) been bitten 4 times in less than 2 months. I've addressed the director, Roberta multiple times about it and she insists that there is nothing she can do (she can...she just doesn't because it requires her to do something other than sit at her desk). I've gone up the chain to the Regional Director, Julie, where she did nothing but make excuses and shirk responsibility instead of at least pretend to care and find a way to make my child and other children safe.

Their policy very clearly states 4 children are to be in the infant room with 1 teacher, but they only do that when it's convenient to them. On multiple occasions, I've come in to 5 or 6 children in the room with one teacher. No wonder there are so many behavior issues that go unaddressed...the children here are a dollar sign. There is a MAJOR culture issue here and while I'd love to say that shaking the tree will help, it probably won't.

All that to say, Big Blue Marble Academy will NOT take care of your children and when things happen, they will not care and will not try to help solve your problem!
