I have used this provider for less than 6 months

There’s no way to edit or delete reviews on this website so I have to write another.
First off, I want to apologize for calling her evil. She’s not evil, she just felt entitled to take a ton of money from a family without the work, and it put us in a financial bind. That’s why it made me so furious. That’s money we should have used for our baby, and instead she felt like she deserved it because we left right away. My husband paid it even though I told him not to. I pulled my baby out because I was worried about his safety because of how frustrated she was all the time.
Initially I wanted part time care and she said she’d be charging full price for it, so I decided to just take him full time since I was paying for it. I don’t think she liked this but she couldn’t say no. We missed so much work because of her, and I used vacation and sick days, depleting what I wanted to use for, you know, vacation and sickness. I was at a new job and it looked pretty bad to keep taking off.
She also wanted to take 2 weeks off during the holidays and still pay her without finding alternatives or recommendation for care while she was gone. She expected us to pay her AND pay for care elsewhere. It’s ridiculous.
Everything else in my previous review still stands. My previous review was very emotional because she took advantage of us. I was hurt and deeply disappointed she’d used my baby to emotionally manipulate us. Maybe she’s burned out and the pandemic did a number on her, but that’s no excuse.
My baby slept well immediately at the new daycare, and he’s doing very well.
There’s more I could complain about but I think you get the point. I wish I could edit my first review.
