Care Time L L C

If I could give Nancy Ortiz at Care Time "LLC" a 0 star I would. We only had our child there for a little over 4 months and our other child was only there for a week. This woman should not be in child care business due to her mental instability. If she is not mentally unstable then she is just a greedy individual. Our situation was during COVID times and we informed her of our sickness immediately when we found out and were not even in the home when we were positive. Neither was our child. Long story short, we showed up as planned after a 14 day quarantine with zero symptoms and a doctors note ready for pick up when something was not feeling right between Nancy and I. I tried to have a professional conversation with her regarding everything and she absolutely had a mental break. She frantically ran over to the child gate from the kitchen picked up our child very aggressively SHOVED him into my arms and screamed at me to "Get the f*** out of my house!!!" This type of language and aggression was used for the 10 to 15 minutes that I tried to talk with her about what she was upset about. She came within inches of hitting me while I was holding our child. At this point I was fearful that she would hit me or our child and I tried to walk out of the house when I realized she was about to keep all of our belongings. I calmly requested that she allow me to gather our items and she refused. Rather than me being allowed to collect them she took a garbage bag shoved everything aggressively into it and then THREW it out of the door and as I walked out to collect our belongings off of the sidewalk I realized that she had not provided some of our other items that were expensive. I turned around while my foot was still on the door jam and she tossed her hands into my face almost hitting me for the 5th or 6th time which startled me and I almost fell back and she slammed the door almost crushing my foot and locked it while screaming "Get the f*** out or I'll call the cops!". This all occurred while there were other children within the home. Her assistant was subject to this incident and returned our other item against Nancy's screaming orders. I am fearful that Nancy probably fired her quickly there after this event in the hopes that she would not be able to be contacted for cooperation within any reviews or future repercussions.

I am currently in contact with additional mothers who have also endured similar situations with Nancy Ortiz. Due to how her contract reads, it is possible that she is committing fraud by having families join, paying the deposit, and then terminating their contract without notice and keeping the money “to go towards the next 2 weeks of care” per her contract.

Please do not waste your time and emotional energy having your children go here.

Decent for older kids, but be weary of sending your newborn or infant here. Not enough focus is spent on the babies and they are kept in jumpers or on the floor for long periods of time. The care provider likes to shame parents for giving baby too much attention or picking them up too much. I came in one day to my baby screaming for what the provider described as “an hour” in the crib, with little to no effort in comforting her because she “has ten other kids to watch”.

This child care provider is the best I’ve ever had they teach the kids to be by lingual and always do extra activities to grow and expand their brains along with having Fun with the kids and doing arts and crafts. Their daycare knowledge is the best they always give a full report to the parents before they pick up the kids sometimes it’s hard to even bring my kid home He just doesn’t even want to leave he has so much fun. I wouldn’t trade this daycare in for anything matter fact if I could I would give Child time at 10 star review

Very horrible experience, both the owner and her assistant are very unprofessional. They have favorite kids and when they have any child that is not "easy" its a problem and they complain everyday to the parents. She picks and chooses her kids
