Mama Bear's Family Child Care

I went to this daycare at a very young age, around 2 years old until i was around 9. im 22 now. she abused me any chance she got. shed force children to eat food they didnt like or that fell on the floor. she didnt care if we had food allergies or if we didnt like it. we would have to sit at the table for hours if we didnt eat. if we tried to get up from the table without eating, shed smack us. you’re supposed to accommodate to your daycare children, something she never did. she is a very spiteful person & i watched her first hand not only abuse me but other children as well. shes also very racist & would abuse the children of color way worse than the caucasian ones. it’s absolutely disgusting. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE. she needs to be shut down.

I was sent to barb at a very young age, I’m 19 years old now; but with how traumatizing this women was to not only me but my brother as well has forever stuck with me. She would make you eat food off the floor if anything fell or if you refused to eat it simply because you didn’t like it. Not only that but she had her children help with the abuse. I vividly remember one night I did something that wasn’t to Barbara’s liking so as punishment she waterboarded me. She put me in the bathtub fully naked obviously and let the water fill up. As it was filling and I was crying she proceeded to dunk my head under the water and let the faucet run on my face, to make matters worst she told her oldest daughter ‘Amanda’ to record it. I wonder where that video is now. This women picks and chooses who she wants to care for. Almost every child when they had to stay the night had a bed to sleep in, my brother and I and one other girl, were forced to sleep on the floor next to an open fire to keep warm with one blanket for all of us. This POS has no problem with being physical with small children. She has no problem with ruining young peoples life’s, as you can see because she is still in business I am absolutely disgusted and sick to my stomach to know this woman is still doing this after 20 years of hurting young kids. And to barb. I hope you see this. So you know what you do sticks with people I will do everything in my power to get my story out. EVERYTHING. If you love your kids please don’t put them through what I had to go through. I kept quiet because I was so young I didn’t know better please watch your children and how they act after gong to “mama beats day care” she’s more of a grizzly bear if anything.
