This daycare is less than ethical. Over the years the owner changed the contract or added to benefit her, such as closing the daycare for two weeks due to a pandemic exposure but keeping the money for already paid week. She also has a few cats that she claims are not indoor but my child would come home with cat hair all over. Recently she began to have an allergic reaction and her pediatrician suspected it was a cat allergy. When brought to her attention she said it wasn’t possible because they were outside and to start looking for a new daycare. The next day I went to pick up my daughter I knocked and rang the doorbell a few times, called and text and waited for 15 minutes and finally when they opened I made a comment I was waiting and worried and wasn’t sure if “something had happened and didn’t know if I should call the police”. She took it way out of context and claimed I was harassing her and terminated our contract then and there without even discussing it or hearing me out. It was a misunderstanding in communication. I was coming from a place of concern and she twisted it into a “threat”. Owner is greedy, unfair and will modify rules to her convenience.
