i am so happy we found this daycare. there a several daycares in Norwalk/Downey, and we had toured several places before finding Mrs. Alma. She provides quality childcare in a loving happy home. My children love coming here, and i feel comfortable leaving them while at work. We are so thanful for finding Alma.

About the Provider
I'm a licensed family child care provider in the city of Norwalk. I speak Spanish and know some sign language. I obtained my AA Degree in Child Development from Cerritos College. I'm fingerprinted and have a clean record. I'm 1st Aid/CPR certified. I've worked as preschool teacher for the last 4 years and I recently opened my center in my home (Sept. 2009). I have experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged. I've been married for 8 yrs & have 2 daughters, ages 5-yrs-old & 1-yr-old. I believe children benefit greatly from a family child care setting and they learn best through play and hands-on activities. We can only have 14 children at care. Our adult to child ratio is 1:7, since I have an assistant.
