Little Sunshine's Playhouse & Preschool

I did a good amount of research and phone calls before signing my son up for LSP in OFallon. I am the person who asks far too many questions. I must say it was the best decision for us all as a family. 1st Ms Pam and Ms Jenn were amazing with the answering all my questions and addressing all my concerns before we signed up. I never thought I would be comfortable signing my son up for anything that I would not be physically going into and seeing in person — “covid life” — but Ms Pam really went above and beyond making me feel comfortable knowing my son would be in good hands and that they work with all parents daily doing LuvNotes (best thing ever) keeping parents involved and In the loop with everything the kiddos are doing personally, with what’s happening in class and what’s ahead. Since they work very hard with keeping a fun and safe environment they like many places are not allowing parents in the schools. So Pam did a FaceTime meeting with me and showed me every corner of the classroom inside and out and explained how each area is used. She really has the sweetest demeanor and I am so happy to have spoken with her and decided to enroll my son. Gio has been enrolled now for a few months and he has learned and grown so much. It’s truly amazing. He’s doing better in class and at home. He always tells me about all his fun activities they did while learning and how much fun he has with Ms Dayna and Ms Casey and how they help him learn his numbers and letters and teach him about his stations. They use the Reggio Emilia Approach to learning and it’s something i feel all kids should get the opportunity to do, a true hands on learning experience. He has made some great friends too and it melts my heart hearing him say how much fun he has with them. Even at the drop off and pick up Ms Katlyn is wonderful with the kids and keeping them safe as were all lining up to grab our littles. And Ms Melody the LSP chef is hands down amazing as she has some how gotten my son to experience and eat all sorts of different foods that he won’t even look at with me. So kuddos to LSP for giving these kids such a fun and safe learning environment and truly being a special place that allows them to be creative and enjoy the process and retain it! I tell EVERYONE I know (literally across the US) that it’s the best school ever and everyone should enroll. I have already asked if they offer a elementary school option but sadly they don’t, but hey, if LSP decides to extend to elementary school ages Gio will be signed up!!! Everyone there has been super friendly and great to work with.
