I have used this provider for less than 6 months

My child thoroughly enjoyed being apart of this daycare facility & I was happy to see my child engaged in educational & social activities. We had scarcely been going there for a month when the owner made the sudden decision to downsize, after a horrible spike in our area of COVID-19 & just 4 days notice. After contacting everyone & anyone I could to find immediate care for my child, to no avail. When I confronted Juli about the fact that she just kicked these kids out, with nowhere for them to go & hardly any notice, she did not apologize. In fact, she acted shocked & bewildered at my frustration with the situation. She did not say goodbye to my child, she did not gather her things together for me; I had to dig through her bin & find the extra clothes, pull-ups, wipes, etc. This experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. I had to take extra time off from work until I could find suitable care for my child. And, having the privilege of knowing information from behind the scenes, as to the true nature of her sudden "downsize" situation, I would not be surprised to see this daycare, and it's participants, back in the same situation in a few years time. That is, if the Dept of Labor has not shut down the facility entirely & her license to operate a daycare revoked.

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

I believe that the care provided here was fine, but management was poor. Julie decided to downsize and gave families 6 days notice to find new care during a global pandemic. She did not check in with us to see if we found new care. She did not apologize to us. She did not even say goodbye to my toddler on his last day. I can say I appreciated her crafts and engagement, but compassion and general care for the families using her care was in limited supply. It’s unfortunate, as my child was very happy with all of his little friends there. A bad situation overall.
