My children have attended this child care for over 11 years. The child care provider has always gone out her way to please every single kid and treats them as if they were her own. Alexa goes above and beyond with all those babies. They are very caring humans.
There are 2 filthy dogs in the home (=pet hair&dander, all abouts the residence;always????????)
The owner of this facility is an admitted drinker (very close to, alcoholic). There is no assistance here,no employees,etc. outside of an adult son (Alan=VERY NICE young man, from what I know...) and, a rude, abusive, bipolar daughter (Alexa). Please note:Irma Hurtado also drives under the influence????????????????/morning after, side affects????. That is dangerous +potentially deadly????????Though this agency+ DCFS seem to see Irma Hurtado to be an "appropriate" provider with an appropriate home, there are numerous hidden horror stories. Our personal experience includes: near death/drowning, mental/psychological abuse, verbal threats of burning child (This was inappropriate, unlicensed daughter "Alexa"), child forced to sleep OUTSIDE ,in a garage, due to fear of the dark, using children as slaves to clean&prepare for daughters wedding, etc....the list goes on&on. Also, Irma Hurtado (and her daughter Alexa)STEALS children's toys&gifts them to other ,unknown children. Irma also "borrows" money from children but, does not reimburse. No one believes it because of the fancy cars, plasma tv's& large yard. Well, my family endured it. I truly, sincerely feel she is,
"The lessor of the evils out there", thus, 2stars, given~
