I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I am a middle school teacher here in Concord. Finding childcare is hard, especially one that doesn't hit your pockets. Here at Ready to Learn they are flexible with my schedule. They are very nurturing toward my children ages 3 years and 6months. Both of my children beg to be there and cry to leave. This is comforting knowing they have looked after. This is a 2-star home daycare and not a five-star facility. Yet they provide structure, routine, and adequate care for my children. All the children I have met there are respectful, kind to one another, and play well with my two children. My 3-year-old enter preschool with a good foundation from this facility. My son attends Westford UMC preschool just 5 minutes away. Once he returns they ensure that he provided a snack and nap right away. He never comes home cranky or tired always in good spirits. In the last 4 years, they have kept me up to date on any policy changes and state evaluations. The staff are friendly and Tabitha's humor always brightens my day. They DO respond swiftly and always have my children ready to go if they have a doctor's appointment. My little has monthly visits to Levine and she is always fed, changed, and ready to go upon my arrival. They also maintain high standards when it comes to sick child policies. This is a great place to receive childcare. I will advise anyone to call schedule and chat with you themselves. Like with any childcare provider or teacher they can not chat with you all day, seeing how they do have children that they are caring for. But, they do respond within a timely manner and will schedule a conference if necessary. Check them out.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I do not recommend this at home facility. The communication is non existent and I never knew what my child was doing during the day. I never get a response when I called to check on my child or a report when I picked them up. Then I got a letter one day about the home getting a negative report from the state about many concerning problems with treatment of the children and following rules. The owners come off as very nice and kind, but I don't think they really know what they are doing. I strongly believe that once the doors close and no one is watching, they do what they want and not what is required to care for the children. They have often closed early or did not open at all and gave very little notice to the parents. It's more like a babysitting service rather than a daycare.
