Pleasant Grove Christian Learning Center

I love this daycare they have been great with my 2yo and 5 mo since day one. They learn so much everyday with a focus on God!

My friend walked in to get her son and found him laying on the floor screaming and crying with snot running into his mouth, he was unattended and he is too young to walk himself.

My kids love it, I like the staff and the lessons. My daughter goes on field trips and the meals are healthy, the facility is one of the cleanest and largest. The younger staff isn't drama or mosey and there good to my daughter. Kids bite they fight scratch and accidents happen, even to the best of parents. I have personally not had an issue like I have had with some others in the area.

Pros: Healthy breakfasts, lunches, and snacks. Fun activities, good lessons, religion lessons, clean.

Cons: THE TEACHERS DO NOT WATCH THE KIDS VERY WELL AT ALL. There have been quite a few accidents that have occurred at this daycare within the past 4 months. Majority of the employees that work there are younger, high school or just-graduated girls. There has been more than one occasion when I have come to pick my children up and they were on their cell phone. They don't play with the children. Usually they are sitting in chairs by the entrance of the gym when I come to get my kids. My 1-year old son had a golfball size knot on his forehead from playing with a large, wooden desk on wheels and another child push it into his face and hit him. I know of another incident that they just sent a letter home about, a 1-year old little boy pulled a bottle warmer down and got 2nd and 1st degree burns. Another, in a body cast from a shattered pelvis (this story, I heard from a friend...so it could be true or false). I have to sign atleast 6 biter's notes a week for my 1-year old, but he has NEVER bitten at home, around myself, fiance, or 3-year old daughter.

ULTIMATELY...

Pleasant Grove could be a good daycare. Depending on it's employees. There are many that I love as a teacher for my children, then there are others that are just there because it's their job and they could care less. They teach good lessons and good morals, have exercise, playtime, naptime...every other aspect is fine. They just do not watch the children well at all.
