Int'l Christian Montessori Academy Of Costa Mesa

Our two boys (3 and 4) have been attending this School for almost a year now and they are doing excellent and learning so much!
The Schools Director was very nice and allowed us to try the school for a few weeks and also to stay outside of their room to see how they were doing.
She also answered our calls right away when we was checking on them.
As a mom I can see they really support the children and their families.
Every time we have a question or a suggestion or a thing we need to discuss, we can do it right away and they are willing to talk to us or send us the information as soon as possible and always with a smile and the most positive attitude ever.
That's not very common and that take's time and effort.
My husband and I really appreciate and value this.
The way they teach and run the school is very impressive.
They are sweet but at the very same time they are strict as well.
Everybody knows the rules and best of all the kids are very happy to follow them. The organization is impressive.
Academics are amazing as the Montessori system is.
They know all of the students very well and the communication is up to date.
Our kids feel safe at school and so do us as a family!
My family loves this School, what else do I need to say?

More than a school, a family Nothing is better than to know my daughter is in great hands. This school is more than a school, it is a family. My daughter is so smart and well adjusted. I have watched her grow and am overjoyed with all she's accomplished in her two years at the school. I look forward to all the growth she has in the years to come at this school. CHRISTIAN MONTESSORI ACADEMY ROCKS! It is a true blessing to have this school in her beginning.

International Christian Montessori School - Costa Mesa is the ABSOLUTELY WORST school we have ever encountered.

On spot check, we saw the teacher (Gerbxxx) turning our daughter's head very rough during circle time. We did not  talk to the teacher and the director ( Maidxxx ) at that time, since we tried to look and see whether the situation will be better. Also, we really afraid that if we point this out, the teacher may revenge on our daughter.

Then few weeks later, our daughter told us that the teacher slapped her face. Initially we do not believe that a three-year old girl is telling the truth. So we did not take it seriously, until some weeks later when we saw the teacher put our daughter's personel art smock onto an elder kid (who is the teacher's favorite girl) and never let my daughter wear her own smock during painting. And we have to draw such a conclusion that the teacher (Gerbxxx) does treat our daughter unfairly ! And we started question ourselves: what if our daughter is telling the truth ?

Based on our observation, we decided to play safe by transferring my daughter to another class room administrated by a different teacher. Therefore we had a face-to-face discussion with the director  (Maidxxx), showing our concern. During the discussion, she said many "SORRY" to us, and approved our request for transfer.

But on the next day, she kicked my daughter out of school without any notice. The ridiculous reason from her is that we do not trust her school. We got our conclusion based on what we saw, not by faked evidence, how can we fully trust the teacher (Gerbxxx) and the director (Maidxxx).

Luckily, we already enrolled a new school which is much much better than this lousy school. When we look back, it is really a nightmare in this school. I would never recommend this school to all parents.
