Tina is a wonderful caregiver, she truly cares about the kids and makes them feel comfortable and enjoy their time there.
I don’t even know where to begin with this. My son (4 months old) started going to this day care in July and since then I have had multiple unprofessional horrible experiences. The first one was when he was 2 months old, brand new to the day care. I specifically told Tina that I did not want strangers holding my son due to the pandemic, and she said she understood. One day I arrived a little earlier than usual and low and behold when I walked in the door a stranger was holding my baby. When I said something about it Tina apologized and told me that the lady thought he was just “too cute”. The next thing that happened is I wrote on my paperwork when beginning the day care that she wasn’t to use regular baby powder on my son, but she didn’t read my paperwork and did anyways. She also took it upon herself to decide he needed his nails clipped and did that without consulting me. She also decided she didn’t like the bottles (5 oz Avent and Tommy Tippie...the kind he likes) that I provided and started using one of her choosing. This caused my son to not eat for HOURS at daycare, she told me at 5:00pm that he wouldn’t eat since 10. He came home each day exhausted and starving, because in the 2 months he’s gone there I only bought THREE cans of formula, at home he goes through one a week. Tina also talks poorly about the other parents that bring their kids there, which I do not want my son listening to. Needless to say I’m highly disappointed with this childcare provider, and am so thankful he is switching.
