Tomahawk Child Care takes great care of my daughter. They not only take good care of her, they do so much with her. Considering she is only 8 months old, she has done a ton of art projects. They do sensory activities and much more with the infants. Her teacher is very good at communication and staying in touch with us when our daughter is sick or has an ear infection.
As far as the organization behind the scenes, things have been a little "iffy" but it's all minor things. When I originally turned in all of my daughters paperwork, it was lost and I was asked to re-fill out everything. Then, I was asked to bring in sunscreen for my daughter but she was only 2 months old and I told the teacher (who is no longer there) that she shouldn't have any sunscreen. The teacher insisted so I found some infant sunscreen. The next week, the same teacher gave me the sunscreen back and told me to take it home because infants can't have sunscreen until they are 6 months old....
Again, minor things that happened and things have been great ever since. Even if these small things continued, I would continue to put up with them because of how great they are with my daughter and how well they take care of her. Dealing with lost paperwork is just fine with me, as long as my daughter is taken care of.

I spent quality time at this center and was terribly unhappy. The director is rarely present, the employees seem frusterated and are often unsure of her whereabouts. I was also uncomfortable when I met her and realized immediately how often I see her out in the local bars.
The teachers are wonderful people, and my children really loved them but I chose to remove them due to the way I felt about the director. My children now attend Redeemer and we are very happy!
