The Oakdale Kid's Center

If you do not value your mental health, this place is right for you! Oakdale Kids Center is run by truly awful, vindictive people. The only thing they care about is the money coming in and the reputation of the center. They do not have a single care in the world for their staff nor the children. I was unfortunately a witness to this behavior. The owner and director will encourage staff to lie to parents about the wellbeing of the children. If a child is ill, the director will instruct the staff not to tell the parents unless she gives you “permission” to do so. Staff are treated like animals in cages. They are not allowed to speak for themselves or for their students. OKC will hire staff with no prior knowledge or experience working with children and throw them into a classroom with no supervision. There are many, many more instances that are far too complicated to put into words. Lastly, if you support childcare centers who sweep physical abuse under the rug in fear of a “bad look on the center” then this center is for you. I would not recommend this place on my worst enemy. -0/10

I want to give this place five stars because the teachers are truly excellent, however, the attitude and behavior of the owner (she sits in the office up front) is the reason I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone else. I’ve not had one positive experience with her. She doesn’t care about the students or the teachers, just her money. The teachers should honestly find a better place to work.

I use this provider for my two sons. My oldest is almost three and has been there since he was 12 weeks old. Great facility with very caring staff. I recommend them.

Loved it! My son started at 2 and graduated from their Pre K program! I recommend them to everyone!
