I am an employee

Working at this daycare has been such a meaningful and rewarding experience. From the moment I started, I felt welcomed and supported by both the staff and leadership team. The environment is positive, team-orineted, and focused on what truly matters; providing a safe, nurturing space for children to grow and learn. One of the things I appreciate most is how much the staff genuinely care about each child. every day, we're not just supervising; we're teaching, guiding, and building relationships that help shape their development. It's clean that the center values early childhood education and puts effort into creating engaging, age-appropriate activities that help kids thrive.

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

I have only been using 123 for a short while. Jan was gruff from the beginning but appeared to work very well with my children. The issues began when my children started to act out. This is partially due to the very contentious divorce with my Ex-Spouse, where we share 50/50 custody. I was called routinely to pick up my children if they did not take a nap or were moody. In many cases I was not notified until the end of the day of any issues as my Ex-Spouse was told and the information was never shared.

Materials were promised to be forwarded from YoungStar that were never sent. Requests for Itemized billing statements and amounts owed were sent via text messages. Cash payments or check payments were required but receipts were not given for payments made. When pressed for Billing Statements and receipts, the request was met with hostility. The request for statements was to understand what was owed so that I would bring the account current. I was told three different amounts needed to bring the account current and keep my enrollment. The more that I pressed for a Statement the more the amount increased. I was told on a Friday to bring the original balance owed (lowest amount) on Monday to continue enrollment. On Saturday I was notified that my enrollment was terminated and that I was no longer allowed on the premises. My belongings that were still at the provider was given to my Ex-Spouse over the weekend even through I had voiced concerns that they were my items and may not be return to someone that does not own them.

When I pressed for an explanation of why I was not allowed to retrieve my property, I was threatened with harassment charges and police action. In short, Jan is unpredictable. There are no plans in place, available to parents for curriculum. Food given to children does not match meal plans posted on web page. Outdoor play area is not enclosed so children can and have run off. Notification is not made to parents in timely manner of this or injuries that may have occurred. Receipts and billings statements not given when requested. I would not recommend this daycare. If you question what is going on you will be met with hostility and treats.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Where to start with this place ...They do not follow any curriculum in any rooms and In my opinion doesn't ready children for kindergarten . I don't know how her 4K "program " meets school district standards . Jan is too busy involved in other classrooms micro managing other teachers ,  cooking or doing owner director duties to put the proper time and effort and curriculum into her 4K . There is a high turn over rate of teachers here because it's not a pleasant environment to be in .Teachers do not have any freedom to teach how they see is best . Many things here are just for show with no follow through . For example: Peanut free facility signs but serves peanut butter all the time . Or has great sounding menus but that food isn't served . I would not suggest working here or bringing your child here . She is rude to people that question her ways and leave the center . She will even go as far as shorting money from pay checks from staff that leave . Her reputation is not a good one in the daycare / early childhood community right now .

I would not recommend bringing your child here or working here . Jan's moods are unpredictable .  She doesn't follow laws when it comes to licensing or staff pay checks . Promises free daycare to staff but if you leave for a better job opertunity she will back charge you .  The facility is not clean or sanitary .

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Ms Jan does not return calls in a friendly manner. The center REFUSES to Notify Parent of childs injury Has NO REGARDS to BOTH PARENTS having 50/50 Legal Custody.Facity REFUSED to take child for MEDICAL ATTENTIIB when child was injured. When Ms. Jan was questioned she manipulated the situation and accused the concerned parent of Harrassment. When other than parent picks child up from daycare, No ONE at Center verified person. Child allowed to go w/anyone center had never met. Center Does NOT follow follow guide lines required by state. Cant keep help. STAFF does not comfort children!!
