Lynn Road Childcare Academy

This is a 3-star school and it really shows. The school is dirty and I have noticed bugs on several occasions. The school very dirty and do not try to use the bathroom for the adults, it smells so bad. The children are barely in their assigned classrooms. I have seen kids 2 years and older in the classrooms with infants and toddlers. I do not know about you but that drove me crazy. Then the amount of food the children receive is ridiculous, there is no way they are feeding them enough. There have also been a few staff members that have come and gone such as the 3 year old teacher who was easy to talk to you and seemed concern about the children in her care. The 4 year old teacher who was an awesome teacher and the toddler teacher who became the 4 year old teacher are also gone. The assistant director is no longer there and they probably should have kept her. She seemed to try to get things done and also look like the go to person for the staff members and some parents. I actually preferred her over the owner/director.

In a nutshell stay away from this place unless you need a babysitter and something cheap then this is right up your alley. I prefer a place that is going to get my child prepared for school rather than sending them to this place where the teachers just stay on their phones all day.

Personally I recently stop working there because most of my money was Going to daycare transportation and parent fee which leave me to not having enough for my bills. Yes my four children been attending since February 2017 but they no longer go there. I had alot of trouble before and after I stRted working there. I was Told when I was 5 months pregnant with my last child I was suppose to start working but never did because I was given the wrong paper work to do my background check by the owner Ms shami and old assistant director. They end up given me a third party check to try to cash to get my money back.

As far as my kids I did have some problems
For my now 5 month old son depending on the teacher the teacher his pamper will be soaking wets times. Which for infants you suppose to change every 2 hours
like a box of pull up went missing that had. My daughter name on it. It was no where in the daycare.
My son pacifier and clothes went missing out his cubby and wasn't found.
My 2 year old daughter came home with a busted lip one day and no incident report about what happened and I was not called about the situation on that day. So had to find out what happened.
my son had marks like bumps all over his face and the teacher couldn't tell me what was going on.
My oldest daughter hat was missing
it seems like when parents tell the owner about situations she just brush it off and don't try to help solve the problem.
They don't understand that parents pay money for the kids Pampers and wipes and it shouldn't be used on other kids. Especially when things not getting replaced.

Me I personally didn't mind paying a parent fee and separate transportation fee but honestly it's not my fault why the daycare was losing kids. so the owner try up my price in the middle of the month. I didn't like the fact that if the owner owed you money because she charge you way too much she don't give the money back right away or if you pay her extra for another month sometime she act like she don't remember or the money won't get credited to your account.

I was hired as a teacher assistant but some days I feel like I'm everywhere like a janitor or a cook. cleaning out basement and selling stuff online. There is water bugs and roaches there that I personally seen in the kitchen.
I know everyday is not perfect but I feel it was right to get my kids out there. I have small children age 4 years 3 years 2 years and 5 months old.

Parents it's best to look at daycare view and do a tour of centers and to also check to see what is going on with your child everyday.

I absolutely love Lynn Road Childcare Academy! It is an affordable professional daycare with a family like atmosphere. My 3 yr. old daughter has been enrolled here ever since she was 1 yrs. of age. The owners are so sweet and they were my Angel when I needed them the most. Mrs. Wanda works with the Infants and she is wonderful with them. Mrs. Maria works with toddlers and she is like a second mom to my daughter. She has a sweet calming spirit that the kids respond to. Ms. Dorothy is an amazing teacher as well. My toddler has learned so much, and their assistance with potty training was awesome. My oldest child is also enrolled in their after-school program. She really enjoys the staff and kids there as well. Her homework is done every evening before I pick her up! I would recommend this lovely childcare establishment to everyone!
