Description: Since its inception in 2000, Weekday School has provided distinctive early childhood education with child-centered, developmentally appropriate learning activities in Language Arts, Math, Computer Literacy, Science, Cultural Awareness, Reading, Writing, Spanish, Art, Music/Movement, Character Education, and Physical Fitness. Classes offered include extended and half-day Preschool, Kindergarten, and First Grade. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 3:00pm. The school enrolls children of diverse racial, religious, and ethnic backgrounds and operates under the guidelines of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
The school is housed in the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church facility, located in a private residential area near Lead Mine Road in Raleigh. In addition to a small enrollment of less than fifty students, the children enjoy the benefits of comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped classrooms with low student-teacher ratios. Our staff includes experienced and degreed elementary and early childhood education professionals.
