Cincinnati Early Learning Centers - Schiff Center

The Robert and Adele Schiff Early Learning Center is housed in the Oyler School in Cincinnati's Lower Price Hill Community. The Schiff location is an integral partner in this innovative Community Learning Center. A Community Learning Center is "a place and a set of partnerships between the school itself and other community resources. In these schools, there is an integrated focus on academics, family support, health and social services, youth and community development. All which lead to improved student learning, stronger families and healthier communities." (Coalition for Community Schools)

The Schiff location opened in the fall of 2012 and holds a 3 Star Rating (the highest possible) from Ohio's Step Up to Quality and is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The center offers a strong educational program in an environment reflective of the qualities of home.

Our center serves children and families from the Lower Price Hill Community and surrounding areas. CELC and its centers are part of the United Way and the agency contracts with Hamilton County Department of Job and Family Services to provide services to families who qualify for assistance based on their income.
