We were so blessed to find Mrs. Durante when we moved to Cedar Park. We did not know if we would be able to find a daycare that we could trust or afford. I was referred to Little Shining Estrellas by a neighbor and parent who had their children there. We have been amazed at how much our daughter has learned since starting with Mrs. Durante 1 1/2 years ago. They learn in English and in Spanish. It is a Christian environment where the children pray before meals and learn about Jesus. They learn academic curriculum as well as appropriate social skills. Our daughter will go to kindergarten this year so we will miss Mrs. Durante so much. She is like a grandmother for our baby. So thankful for her.
My son loves going to school at Shiny Little Estrella. He has learned so much, we are so impressed with Mrs. Durante. She is patient, loving, caring, we can't wait for our daughter to start in January!
I've never trusted anyone more than Maria Durante with the care of my child. She provides genuine care about physical and emotional well being. Never has my son learned more academically than here at Little Shining Estrella. People are amazed that at 4 yrs old my son is learning Spanish, basic addition, can count to 100 and write the numbers, is learning to read and write three letter words, knows how to write the alphabet in upper and lower case letters. I am amazed at all the other things he knows.
I have no problem leaving him there five days a week because of the love he has for Mrs. Durante. I have never had a provider genuinely care about me and my son's situation either. We are relocating and I wish I could take her with us.
In my 6 years of being a parent, I have struggled to provide the best childcare for my kids. I was always hoping the provider could just do a little more this, and a lot more that....etc. Not at Shiny Little Estrella. My children have made enormous progress in academics, emotional growth, and even spiritual growth. I adore Maria and so do my children.
