My daughter has attended Barb's daycare for two and a half years and is very happy there. It is a wonderful place which I feel so lucky to have found. Barb serves healthy snacks and lunch, takes the children outside often, and teaches academic skills as well as manners and social skills. She includes songs, rhymes and stories each day and also incorporates sign language. Barb accommodates individual needs and requests and is accepting of all types of families. She communicates openly with parents and gives detailed notes about each child's day including specifics about eating and sleeping. I am so grateful that my daughter spends her days with someone who loves her and understands her and appreciates her abilities and personality. I am able to go off to work every day with the peace of mind of knowing that my child is happy, well cared for and learning. What more could a parent ask for?

My daughter has been with Barb since she was 4 months old; she turns two in April. Barb is an amazing daycare provider who goes above and beyond all expectations. Our daughter has learned so much from being with Barb who takes time each day to teach and develop all the children under her care. We have never had a single issue; not one. I never have to worry about my daughter when she is at Barbs. Barb's daycare is something very special and I am so thankful we found her.

Our child has been with Barb for years and loves arriving each day. We knew as soon as we met Barb that we wanted to send our child to her house. Barb creates a gentle, loving environment for all children. She is very supportive about our parenting choices. Barb updates us through the day with what our child is doing and sends notes home every day telling us about the routines, food, nap time, poops, and little stories from the day. Barb also provides a strong academic component to each day and works on areas like shapes, letters, numbers, colors, etc, depending on the age of the child. Reading, story book time, and circle time are a part of each day. As weather permits, Barb also takes the children outside at least once a day for play and learning time. Our child is learning so much from Barb and is happy, loved, and genuinely at home at Barb's. There is a lot of laughter and affection all around. We are very happy to send our child to Barb's every day and our child is so happy to be there. We whole-heartedly recommend Barb's daycare to any family.

When my boyfriend and I first decided to put our son in daycare we were very nervous. We looked at about 3/4 home daycares because we wanted to make sure we made the best decision, we toured Barbs home, which was beautiful. Her and her husband were so loving. My son loved going to daycare, they did projects, they went outside every chance they got, she provided the healthiest snacks possible! I absolutely loved our expirenece, due to life changes we had to take him out of her daycare however I would recommend anyone to go there. I know they would not be disappointed!

Both of my children are lucky to have been in Barb’s care for a number of years. They started as toddlers and stayed until they started kindergarten. I was always impressed with the loving care she provided. The children came home with little notes at the end of the day to give me details of what the children had eaten, for how long they napped, and other information that as a working mother, I found important to know to stay on top of my children’s daily routines. Not was I only impressed with her loving care, but also the academic component she added to each day. She read to the children daily, created various crafts with them, explored the outside, and as the children got older, worked on numbers and letters with them. I am 100% positive that because of Barb, my children were off to a better start they would have been in any other care, or in a larger daycare center. I full heartedly recommend Barb to be the daycare provider of your choice.
