My son's arm was fractured here and no one can tell me how!!! My son has been attending small world for a little over six months now. He's had it's fair share of bumps, scrapes and bruises. Which is to be expected for a toddler. However, I failed as a parent for not seeing the warning signs. Last week I went to pick up my son, to be met with a story of him falling while headed to the playground. His teacher suggested I get it checked out because he had been avoiding using his right arm. No accident report. No phone call. Because I'm a first time mom who's never broke or span anything. I decided to take her him to the hospital. At the hospital, I find his arm is fractured in two spots. Again no phone call. No accident report. But I am supposed to believe no faul play was involved. With the way my child "fell" there is noooo way he could've fractured his arm the way he did. No possible way!!!! This is my chief complaint, but I could really go on. And I mean realllyyyy go on. Long story short, I've had so many warning signs. I really wished I listened!! Stay away from this place especially if your child is a toddler!

Small world montessori has done a termendous job for my 2 year old.He started Montessori at 23 Months,all he could do was walk.six months later my son was fully potty-trained,knows his number 1-12,Hold full conversations with you,and also know his basic colors (blue,red,grey, and so on). My daughter has attended Small World Montessori since she was two. She went from not talking to knowing how to recognize her name, knowing her colors and full sentence conversations in less than six months. I love the Montessori method/style of their teaching. The staff is very forward, attentive and quick to address any issues with no hesitation. Very much an open door policy type of scchool, which now in days is very important. My daughter is now entering kindergarden here and we are sad that it will be her last year there. Our next child will definitely attend this school. Highly recommend it to everyone!

The school is all a montessorri front so the owner can charge you an arm an a leg....front desk woman always has an attitude and we get paperwork and calendars 3weeks late. They dont let you see what goes on in the classroom unless you schedule with the owner and by that time its all a frint and they know your there. Also numbers dont match up on your invoice for payments and it takes forever to get one from there, the owner steals feom the parents and its staff, horrible place for your child with 18 yrar old teachers...not qualified at all...dont waste your money.

Nadorable1 is obviously the owner of the school writing that review. They do not allow parents to watch their children through the tiny windows let alone go into the classroom. So how will "Nadorable1" know anything about the delivery of their methods. Now, the school from a real parent's stand point. The school is very hush hush on what goes on during a day to day basis.. You do not know what goes on in the class because they won't let you see your child interact in class. All of the parties and seasonal activities they have, parents are not invited (only the Christmas play, which was outside on one of the coldest days ever) and they do not give out the many pictures they take of your child! They are very unorganized:calenders come out 2-3 weeks late, staff calls you to rely messagesb can't answer any of your questions, and the staff have very little respect for the parents of the children (only there for the money). Now, my child loved the teacher and I think the teacher that my child had was great, but the school has a lot to be desired. Don't let them fool you!.....Two stars for the teacher.

Please whatever you do DO NOT send your child to this daycare. I have a 3 year old son and one day I wake him to get ready and he started crying that mommy please dont leave me there I asked him why he tells me because they scream too much mommy and the teacher doesnt like me please dont leave me. Everytime I go to pick up my son the entire staff has an attitude an the manager is always screaming at his staff. I had to change day care because my son was emotionally hurt

As a student of the Montessori method, I regard the values and principles of the program to be equivalent to how Maria Montessori first started the Casa de Bambini in Italy. Small World Montessori represents the Montessori method at large which globally transcends as a model of what Maria Montessori envisioned for her legacy. The concept of learning, care of oneself and the care of environment enriching the life of every child represented by the community as a whole. This is the founding principles of this school. The director himself creates an atmosphere around educating the children of working families which includes an enriched Montessori curriculum aligned with whole care of the child by meeting nutritional needs which are equivelent to if not higher than state standards. With programs like VPK to help families strugling to make it in this economy, I don't think there could be a better examples for other schools to follow.
