About the Provider

We believe in the development of the whole child; social, emotional, physical, communicative, and intellectual aspects of the self-interact to produce growth. This learning process is based upon developmental achievements, the child’s individual style of learning and experimental background. Each child is unique.
We believe that most of life’s learning, including how to learn, occurs in the first years of life. Children learn by active exploration, manipulation, and concrete experience. These aspects form the foundation for more abstract learning that allow the children to question, reason, create, and engage in meaningful interactions with others. The primary medium for young children’s learning is play. The nature and needs of the individual child is recognized. The child can attain meaning and mastery within the environment through social interactions with peers, the teacher and the other nurturing adults. Close communication between parent and teacher is necessary for optimum growth.
