I have used this provider for less than 6 months

Yes she sued me for defamation and her frivolous case was dismissed!
This lady is beyond sketchy! I wouldn't trust her with a goldfish! She sued me for 50k because of my review but the case was dismissed! In the lawsuit she accused me of repeatedly calling her house and hanging up and refused to provide her phone records. I provided all my phone records.... No calls to her house! She also accused me of opening her van door so it would "blow open in the wind while driving." Psychotic!
There weren't any reviews when we met her. She has gotten my reviews taken down on Google and Facebook several times (I'm not sure how). There is a list of violations that can be found on DHS website (listed under her name, Lori Rittmiller). She lied to us about the violations, claiming to only have one. Be sure to research for yourself. Take note of all the different dates it states DHS was there to investigate a report! The repeated violations are frightening.
Their house is tiny and it stinks. There were 2 incidents when I walked in and the kids were locked behind a babygate while she watched tv. One afternoon, I walked in to find my son wandering around the house alone. I picked him up and waited several minutes for her to finally come in from outside. She apologized and made some excuse. That Friday when I picked him up she was doing her hair and makeup....while watching 10 kids under 6 years old!
When you meet her and see her house you will likely have the same gut feeling that I had. DO NOT IGNORE YOUR GUT FEELING! RUN!

I am the owner

I am the owner of Kiddley Winks. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, there is a pending defamation lawsuit filed against Brenna C. Maus in Anoka County District Court in file number 02-CV-17-2286.

This child began daycare here in May of 2016. We started the family with a trial period- per our written contract- which was signed by both parties. We exhausted our resources trying to work with the child and the parents. We discussed the child’s behavior with the parents. The child was throwing violent tantrums, crying persistently, and experiencing severe separation anxiety. When we asked to meet with the parents to discuss this situation, the parents responded with, “We are too busy this week.” We were also asked by the parents to go against licensing rules in regards to safe sleeping and eating practices. They tried to convince us to keep the child in our care despite the fact that there was no progress or resolution.

During the two weeks that the child attended our daycare, clients expressed their concerns about this child’s behavior and how it was negatively affecting their children. We were left with no other option than to politely give them our notice of termination, once again, per our contract. The safety of the children in our daycare is of the utmost importance to us.
