I have used this provider for less than 6 months

At first I liked mudpies and lullabies. It quickly took a turn. I had to give at least 1 star to write this review otherwise it would be 0. I had my infant in there from 6 weeks to 8 weeks. In one day they left him without eating for 5 hours when at this time he was eating every 2-3 (the teacher said 'I didn't realize that much time had gone by), left his crib rail down on his stacked crib (and yes he was rolling at that time), and didn't administer his breathing treatment until 2 hours after the time he was supposed to have it. They also told me I couldn't bring him in if he needed pedialyte in his bottle. I had already had it all measured and the pedialyte in his bottle, they just had to put the formula in. They said he couldn't have it and that he couldn't go to school until he didn't need it any longer. When I asked them if we could have our money back for that week Amanda said no even though it wasn't our choice to pull him out that week. She said he could use his vacation time. I didn't see how this was fair at all. I then said I was pulling him out and wanted my money back and she still said no AND wanted 2 more weeks worth if we pulled him out. So, I sent her the screenshots of his rail down and magically she gave me my money back. I filled a report with DFPS and they gave the center 2 citations. The CPS worker said that they tried to hid it and kept trying to validate why they didn't do things. Their reason for not giving medication was because it was 'just saline' even though the doctor prescribed him to have a nebulizer with the saline every 6 hours. This place is a joke. If you want the proof I can send it to you for validation. [email protected]
Also, you can get online and see that they have dragged kids across floors by one arm, let them spray eachother with cleaner, put their arms down and restrain them. There's so much more and I don't know how many citations for teachers having 'poor judgment '. Do your research, facts don't lie.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This location is awful. I would not send my worst enemy here! Their care of the children's is awful. There is ZERO communication. When you try to discuss concerns they get defensive and lie. Worst daycare we've ever used!!!!! They go through teachers like crazy. Any good teacher they get never stays long. That should tell the owner something. There is no curriculum at all. My kid was so behind when starting kinder. We had to play a lot of make up. And they claim to be a "learning center" and get mad when you call it a daycare. I could seriously go on and on.

While our first year experience with this facility was great, when a new director came on board the environment changed drastically. My Pre-K child went through at least 3 teachers. Schedules were not consistent. Little to no communication from the classroom about work or discipline. There were times that my child stood alone and was sad and they did not even know my child was in the room. Professional Development for teachers is not consistent and there is very little accountability for them. They do not have a set curriculum that they have purchased. They simply print off worksheet from the internet for teacher to give to students. supervision of students is minimal. The teacher for the most part stands in the middle of the classroom, hands students their papers and there is little other interaction from there for the day. We brought our concerns to the director and the owner of the facility. To no avail. They said that they would provide assistance and training for the teacher. This happened one time. The director does not observe or enter classrooms on a regular basis. I know this because you can watch all interaction via video. The communication did become better, however my child who was never a discipline problem suddenly became one after our meeting with them. We have been told that we are high maintenance and our expectations are too high. I wanted a preschool for my child, not just a daycare. I should get what I pay for. There are better facilities around the area. Maybe one day the owner will wise up and realize that they can not keep deflecting blame on parents and start looking at how they are training their employees and care about kids. I am fortunate enough to have been able to pull my child and have heard horrific stories from other parents who have to live with the horrible situation until the end of the year.
