Reviews
What's great about this place? The staff. They have been very loving and are clearly dedicated to the well being of all the children. The play based curriculum is developmentally appropriate, and the kids are more than ready for kindergarten. It is also a diverse place - both kids and staff - which is a plus. It has been a wonderful experience for my family.

| Findings: The program self-reported a two-year-old child was left in the classroom for 1 minute by two teachers. LS interviewed both staff members who left the child in the room and the staff member who found the child. Both staff members who left the child indicated that neither of them had performed the Name-to-Face transition check before leaving the classroom to get water, which resulted in one child being left in the classroom. The staff member who found the child recalls seeing the child's class right outside the classroom in the hall just before entering, and estimates that the child was not alone long; this staff member immediately tended to the child, and notified her Supervisor of the incident shortly after. The child is still enrolled in the program. All staff members are still employed with the program. The staff members who left the child in the classroom were placed on Administrative leave on January 24, and were reinstated on January 28th after attending CSR, Name-to-Face Training; both staff members have been relocated to classrooms in which they teach with Veteran Teachers. | |||
