Theresa's Gingerbread House

Theresa’s Gingerbread House in Urbana opened in November of 1989 as a type B home for 6 children. In November of 1990 we were opened as a state licensed pre-school for 12 children. In August of 1995 we expanded to a State Licensed Preschool and Daycare Center for 43 children. Due to the increased demand for our services we moved in 1998 to 647 Bodey Circle, where we served 67 children. Our center moved to 1202 North Main St. in Urbana in October of 2003, where we are currently licensed for 107 children. The Urbana site is currently open 6 days per week, and offers drop-in care on Friday and Saturday nights. Our Mechanicsburg location was opened June of 2006. Theresa’s Gingerbread House II is licensed for 52 children. The newest addition to our Gingerbread family is our West Liberty location. TGH III was opened June 2008 and is licensed for 58 children. Every location serves children ages 6 weeks – 12 years. All of our facilities offer individual classrooms where your children will feel at home with one main caregiver. No matter which center your child attends, we strive to make your child feel at home as part of our gingerbread family!
