My 2 kids were in "Miss Laura's" day care for many years. My 20 yr old son and 17 yr old daughter love her so much! She adores kids and when in her home treats them all as family.
A finished pastry chef, Laura regularly bakes with and without the kids. Every child gets a beautiful birthday cake and party on their special day! She prepares wholesome meals daily and is very attuned to potential food allergies and sensitivities.
Laura treats her day care as a learning center. Wherever the kids are developmentally-
She is very creative and uses everyday to teach potty training, creative play, learning a love of stories through reading, writing letters in ordinary baking flour, the kids squirt colored water words and pictures on snow, she makes homemade playdough, there's plenty of opportunities at her house to learn and be prepared or advanced for school.
Her loving and relaxed demeanor serves the children well. They feel calm, secure and happy with her.
