They combine the kids to much, and there are plenty of times I have walked in and the supervision hasn't been adequate to the amount of kids in one classroom, and often times in the evenings there isn't a consistency with who's watching the kids. Kids that attend school shouldn't be so easily migrated with the nursery kids, and the age thing should always play a factor in who is in a room. I think they utilize the tv and cable to much, in the mornings and the evenings is a lot of time to have it on the kid network. There are plenty of interactive educational dvds that can be used, or even the National/Animal Geographic or more appropriate than NickJr, and Cartoon Network. The care after the main teachers have left just isn't up to par, and the ladies there are two young to be dealing with young children. A problem that occurs is when you pick up your child you have no one to really talk to get a sense of what your child day was like, what they did for the day, I could even settle for a slip of paper detailing the days event for my child. Also I do not let my child listen to Rap R&B music unless its a nursery rhyme remix cd, and I have come in and the radio is on to k104 of 97.9 which is inappropriate for their ages. The carpeted areas in the rooms could use a real good thorough cleaning as well, and replace the sleeping mats because basically the kids are on the floor.

I was stressed out after the 1st minute I was there!  I have been looking for P/T care for my toddler (14 months), and at least 2-3 other toddlers were crying when we walked in the room, and cried for the whole time we were there.  There were too many kids in the room and it seemed very chaotic and as if it might have been a fire hazard -- not sure how they would have gotten all those kids out if there had been an emergency!  To be fair, I was told that the kids were combined in a bigger class, but it was only for a short while until somebody came back from helping with driving the school's bus, and then she would take the 18 month olds out of the baby room (I went first thing in the morning).  Also, the TV was just going on in the background with no body in particular watching it, which just added to the chaos and noise level.  If it was stressful for me, then you can imagine how those poor little kids felt!  The teachers in the 6 week up to 18 month room seemed uninterested and serious, as if they didn't really want to be there, though they were trying to comfort the upset ones.  Oh, and one of the little girls -- maybe 18 months? -- actually turned the doorknob on the half door of the room and opened it!!  Of course, they stopped her, but I couldn't believe it!  I certainly didn't feel comfortable with the safety there!

In every room we went in on our tour, the guide pointed out where the TV was and what kind of programming they watch, so I got the impression that TV was a bigger priority to them than it was to me.  Also, the little toddlers do not get a lot of outside time apparently, but when they do, they are very "heavily supervised because they put the little rocks in their mouths and noses and stuff."  Not sure why they have rocks out there in the first place, though.  There were very few books and they were way up high and not easily accessible.

Anyway, I would not recommend this place.  Please keep looking!
